Does anybody here watch The Walking Dead or read the comics?

I saw the first season but I still need to watch the second season so I'm out of the loop right now. I also played an episode of The Walking Dead game on XBLA and it's actually pretty cool. I might get the physical copy they released with all the episodes.

It's maintained its momentum. If you have netflix I think it has the first two seasons.

I watch it, and have read the comics...well, the first compendium which is #1 - #48.
On the show, I like Daryl, because he's not in the comics so ya never know what to expect with him. Plus the fact that he was one half of the Boondock Saints...

I still need to see Boondock Saints.
I noticed that Daryl was Scud in Blade 2. That tripped me out when I realized it.
I've only read the comics up to when Michonne shows up. How do you feel the show compares to comic?

Dope show, i'm hooked. I have read both of the compendiums. I like how they did not 100% follow the book and added people that were not in the book. So even though I have read both collections I still cannot 100% predict what will happen next.

It's a pretty faithful adaptation, but they did tweak some things. I like The Governor on the show more than I did in the comics. He's more charismatic. But, they kept all of the most important points from the comics. I like that it's not 100% faithful, because there's still room for surprise.
