When groups are included(which apparently they will be), I equate an individual artist as a solo artist.

so, is the concept of these threads considered art? If so, does that leave it open for interpretation?

Voting on the best solo artists still wont get to the question of who the best mc's are from each region, which i think is way more interesting and voteworthy.

Obviously you were interpreting what the vote and this whole process was for a different way, that's fine, but someone isn't stupid because they saw it another way. Kev is the one running it, and that's not how he imagined it, and if you look at the lists people made, a lot of people included Andre 3000 and others, so they didn't see that particular separation either.

I don't think anyone is having trouble understanding why you think they should be separate, but that's just your view.
