| Now lets go to the south and check out David Banner. Had great production on the Crooked Lettaz' debut album. Has worked with Nappy Roots, T.I, Ruff Ryders, Chingy and even RZA. Post your own youtube vids, I would of put It's Ours off Grey Skies but couldn't find a video on YT. I'm not too familiar with the man's work so I'll refrain from voting. | |

| Hmmmm...interesting pick. I am kind of in limbo on where to put Banner. I mean he makes good beats but I can't say he has made anything bonafied classic. |

| Banner is top 50. I know it's hard to remove how well the total album sounds, but this is strictly for production. Banner's production is dope. Kev, have you picked up Grey Skies yet? That is Banner's classic(although i don't think he produced every track). | |

| Yeah I got Grey Skies and I can see it's southern classic status. I'm still leaning toward not thinking Banner is top 50 . Even objectively. I like his beats like Rubber Band Man, the one he did on Remi Ma and Nappy Roots album. I guess top 50 but I need to see more comments. |

??? I voted top 50. He'd be right around 45 - 50 somewhere for me, though. | |

I voted top 50. He'd be right around 45 - 50 somewhere for me, though. I meant maybe more valid comments from y'all can help me make a decision. |

| Top 50, the man can make a complete album, with varied sounds, and even switch up his style for regions and mcs. He has all the makings of a great producer, he just needs a longer catalogue to define his placement in the top 25. With a decade in the game, the man has remained relevant and influenced a ton of young producers out there (myself included). |

| Top 25 for me.
His production on Grey Skies, MTA 1 and 2, Firewater Boyz, Firewater Boyz 2 and other artists is enough. I know I am the only top 25 voter, but it's hard to see how he is not top 50.
He has the hits of a timbaland type producer, the underground status of a rza type producer. He's not as big as either, but I'd be hard pressed to find 50 more deserving producers. |
