I really wanted to go with top 5 but the objective voice in me would not allow it. He is still young in the game and maybe this 3rd album will put him top 5 mos def.

I'm going to go with Neither on this one. However I will admit I do enjoy his first cd quite a bit and he's had some dope collabos (2 with Fort Minor, and one with Wildstyle) that have put him more on my radar. I may have to check out the Cool and see if it's as hype as some people make it out to be. Lupe also has the distinction of being a midwest mc that even with his east coast sensibilities can ride a more typical midwest beat and not sound completely out of place.

Neither. I do like Food & Liquor but The Cool was dissapointing to me and he just doesn't have enough quality music to get in.

I don't agree at all. I could understand top 10(although I don't agree), but his two albums should not put him as top 5 in any way.

neither, easily. He only has 2 albums the first is 4.5 and the second is 4. Theres definitely 10 better midwest mc's than him...and i agree with steve about those 3 artists
