| No, it is the truth. And those who don't see that are blinded by nas manlove. And that is unhealthy. |

| No, it is the opinion of anyone with good taste in music. It's quite offensive for something like Lost Tapes to beat out an actual album for a poll for Album of the Decade... quite an atrocity... anyone who voted Nas should get their hip-hop card revoked...
your's has been revoked for a while so I can understand the lack of concern. |

| i agree with SRP, i dont see how an album of unreleased songs thrown together, no matter how good they might be, beats out a cohesive album in SC, that received greater critical and professional reviews everywhere except this site, and also revamped sampling back into mainstream hip hop. | |

| Indeed slang. This forum and poll is supposed to reflect the greater opinion and consesus and as KJ would say - this CD getting this many votes is both BLASPHEMY and BULLSHIT. |

Actually, if you look around you'll find that the general ratings are just about neck and neck for these.

Actually, if you look around you'll find that the general ratings are just about neck and neck for these. They are close. And I won't be mad if Lost Tapes gets a 5 star rating from people. But it is not representative of what a hip-hop album should and can be. |

| Lost Tapes deserves to be nominated imo because it was marketed and packaged like an album and it is not full of already released material. |

Actually, if you look around you'll find that the general ratings are just about neck and neck for these. there similiar but the majority of people dont speak the same way about the Lost Tapes as they do SC whats more concerning is that if KJ votes for the Lost Tapes over SC and caims they are both in his top 20-30 that means you have 4 Nas albums in your top 30???? and you say i dickride Wu, GTFOH

| The Lost Tapes is an album that consisted of previously unreleased Nas material...plain and simple
so what if it isn't "cohesive" enough for some folks..it's a great fuckin album and it IN MY OPINION and a few others is a better project than Ghostface's joint...now I will listen to SRP on this one just a little bit because he hasn't shown that ability that Slang does to big-up every single Wu-Tang or Wu afflitated project...but SRP here IN MY OPINION your wrong man...The Lost Tapes to me proves how great Nas actually is because he has a bunch of unreleased shit..that he had no intention of ever bringing out that is probably one of the best albums of the 2000's EASILY...props are given where props are due man!

He had every intention of releasing these tracks. They're far from throw away tracks. quit acting like Nas' scrap material is better Ghost. it's not like that at all. Both albums are 5 stars so i don't care who you vote for, but facts are facts. Nas was gonna release a lot of this material.

| Basically what happened here was nas fucked up - and released two atrocious albums... and then released the songs that he should have released on another CD.
It's bull - but he has a history of trying to correct his mistakes like re-releasing Stillmatic. |

| "Braveheart Party" was removed from Stillmatic at Mary J. Blige's request, not because Nas was trying to correct his mistake. | |

| According to a spokesperson for Nas, Columbia Records is obliging Blige's request to have the track, produced by Swizz Beatz, removed from the album for what she calls "personal reasons." Blige's spokesperson at MCA was unaware that M.J.B. wanted the song removed.
believe what you want...lol |

| SRP, you just need to admit that you're clearly not a Nas fan and just STFU. You bash him every single time he's brought up in a debate. |

| I'm going with Ghost here. Lost Tapes is definitely dope, though. I wouldn't be mad if it won...
In my opinion, it's quite clearly beneath Supreme Clientèle, though.
