| An objective top 50, but no RunDMC album would make my top 200. |

| Top 25, this is an iconic album. Their debut and King Of Rock were classics also, but this was the album that took hip-hop to a whole other level. If it weren't for Raising Hell, the game would have never become as large as it has.
Kev, you should spin this joint again sometime playa. |

| Top 100, without bias, this would obviously be a bit higher, but truthfully no Run DMC album sticks out that much to me and they all kinda sound the same. I respect their status as pioneers and they do make music that will be enjoyed for decades to come. |

Yeah that shit is lame. Another thing I wanna say is that people can say what they want about Run DMC, but they had a chemistry with each other that IMO no other group has been able to quite match since. While they aren't the best lyricists ever, their albums (save for Crown Royal) were always so much fun to listen to. Run and D were the ultimate tag team, and JMJ was the ultimate manager. |

I actually agree with this statement...in terms of the Run-D.M.C. albums sounding pretty similiar..they do..but like he said they are pioneers and brought hip-hop to the masses for better or worse | |

Yeah it does. All of their first 3 are classics but the standouts on this one are the best IMO. I agree that they all sound similar as well, but that JMJ/Rick Rubin sound was awesome |

| I'll say top 100. I honestly don't like this album that much but it's a major hip-hop album that indicated the beginning of hip hop crossing over into the mainstream. | |
