Wow, surprised to see the neither votes. I'm gonna say at least top 15. My favorite Run-DMC album and perhaps the most important hip-hop album of all time.

I'm saying top 50 for the east.....the dopeness factor over here is just straight ridiculous

but IMO it is the most important hip-hop album of all-time EASILY!

The neither votes are some straight up haters, but it's all good because in all likelyhood it has enough support to make the cut. I like Raising Hell better personally, but this album is great as well.

I was basing this on a top 50 of all-time from the east stance man...I have Run and Dee in my top 50 from the east 3 times with this one being the highest rated from them....this one fall in the 27 or 28 range for me....I have at least 26 east coast albums that I'm feeling more than it, but this album contains one of my all-time favorite hip-hop songs ever "Sucker MC's" (top 3 effort of all-time)

so this album is actually top 30 for me man....Raising Hell is in the top 35....King Of Rock is in my top 40 (probably number 40 to be exact)

this was a GREAT album man...5 stars abound...but the problem is that NYC/The east coast is 5 stars abound...so this is by far the hardest region to really get a top 50 of all-time out of man!

I hear ya, and that all makes sense. I guess I'm still a little surprised. I pictured you growing up with this album...like being one of those defining albums that expanded your love for hip-hop...a lot. So I figured it'd be top 25 (or higher) based on nostalgia alone. Let alone how classic/groundbreaking/important/copied the album/formula is. Actually, this was one of my first hip-hop albums as well, so that's basically how I feel about it.

Rock Box is a top 5 song of all time IMO.
