Top 100 at the very least. The Realness and The True Meaning are classics and Cormega never comes with a weak verse. Yo Cise, check out The True Meaning and The Testament, both are great albums.

Top 100 for Mega

Neither, I think he's overrated. There are easily 100 better rappers in the history of the game.

Kool John, you just don't like him because he doesn't like Nas.

Top 50 for me. Mega is a veteran (started in the 80s, for those who don't know) and he hasn't dropped anything under 4.25 stars, IMO

The only album I liked from Mega is The Realness. Yes I rank Snoop above him because Doggystyle blows away any effort from Mega. Impact and influence also gives Snoop the edge as you mentioned.

That's part of it, but besides that he really hasn't made any moves.

Has dissing Nas sold more units for him? No.
Has he become a household name? No.
Has he inspired or influenced anybody? No.

Therefore he doesn't make MY Top 100. Nas blows Mega away in every catagory. He bit the hand that fed him. If it wasn't for Nas, Mega's bitch ass would have less noteriety than K-Rino. Him coming at Nas was like Ruben Patterson claiming he's the "Kobe Stopper". It's laughable!

If he had blown up even in the slightest, I might have given him Top 100, but he hasn't. So I voted neither.

I only own "The Realness" so i won't vote but that album hits on all cylinders. What should i cop next from Mega?

KJ, the Nas thing was partially a joke. I don't expect everyone to vote Mega on, I just feel he's a top rapper

Soul On Ice is garbage, and Van Gogh wishes it could see Revenge Of The Spit.

Mega is better (album-wise) regardless

Van Gogh/Goldyn Child is at least 4.5
Rasassination is like 4

Ras is just better overall as a rapper than Mega regardless of discography IMO

The Realness is the only album I would place above them.

Mega is more my style than Ras so of course I feel Mega is the betta lyricists.

I have to check out The Testament, but based on The Realness & True Meaning, I'd give Cormega top 100. Love both of those albums...

Alan, The Testament is 5 stars to me, too. Objectively, it's probably around 4 or 4.5, but it's solid enough to vote top 100, at least.
