Understandable. I didn't find it all that enjoyable myself. I find El-P's production to be too hit-or-miss. Some of his beats are nice, and some just sound like random jumbled sounds.

everything about this album is flawless.

Vast Aire and Vordul are wayyy better MCs than El-P is so lyrically this album is already above any of El-P's, and the beats on here are just ridiculously good. Vast and Vordul depict NY street life like NO ONE has done before, and everything about this album is unique and original through and through

I will give it 25 to balance out the incorrect votes. I had this for a couple of years before I really started enjoying it. It's one of a kind that everybody seems to hate it or love it with no in between

I just downloaded this, and after doing so I feel it's completely overrated. Not a bad album, but not the flawless classic that reviewers are saying it is. Neither with the quickness.

I don't think you could really judge it off one listen properly. I have to be in a certain mood to listen to it though so i get all the neithers

It's certainly not an album that can be completely appreciated off one listen. No El-P produced album can be for that matter.

go in with an open mind, and really listen to each element of the music and lyrics closely. And id suggest listening on headphones until you get a feel for the album and know it enough to play it loud without having to pay too close attention if that makes any sense, cuz this is an album you HAVE to actually LISTEN to. It might take you a while to like it but if you ever do i guarantee you'll love it.

If you like El-P's production style its more of that, give it a try

Neither, but I can see why some folks would give it top 50. Those with a more abstract taste, of course.

I give it 4 stars personally.
