That Q-Tip would top my list if I made one... Not at all straight Hip-Hop, there are strong elements of Indie rock (with a bent of electronic styling) and even what you might call some americana floating around.

| It's actually just one guy, not a group, and I'd say Pomegranate is his best. He also has a 2006 album, The Mighty Ocean And Nine Dark Theaters, which is also good, and a self-released album from earlier that I've never heard. | |

I just found a discography torrent and I checked out his wiki page. Sounds like good stuff. I'll start with Pomegranate. Thanks for the info, man

I'll admit this was a bleak year...two EPs and two femcees. I would assume that Beautiful Minds would make the cut, but I'm not familiar. BTSG and J-Live are both pretty close. Also, Jonson & Johnson is one of my favorite albums ever, but I'm not sure what year to credit it.
Dropped Half a Klip for Ill Bill...I forgot all about that album.

Alright, I'll switch out the NYOil/9th Wonder...that shit's nice, but just waaay too short. Probably the best beats from 9th I've ever heard...I never did find out where they were originally released.

| Terry & Norf, I'll upload Cape Verde for you, but it'll be a few days before I get to it. Maybe someone else could? I left my car window open and my official copy on the seat...the digipak got destroyed in the rain. This will be the quickest I've ever bought an album twice. | |

I got it at 4 stars after one spin and that was with me listening with one ear (the wife forces me to watch True Blood with her ). I'll definitely be buying his albums if they're still out there. This is why I love this forum...everyone (except Jeff) has a decent/good recommendation in them. lol I'm kidding, Jeff...relax.

Nope it wasn't me who bashed The Formula. I always gave that album praise,MOF, wen people were hard on it for having too many songs about girls I called people fags and stated they'd prefer songs about men. Show me where I dissed the formula. As far as Kwite Def just read my Amazon review on that album. I will always be biased toward anyone who was apart of the Escape From Monsta Island. But the album doesn't belong there cause cause it came out in 2007. But its a dope album.
