| Carolina at NY Giants Atlanta at Pittsburgh- If Ben were playing I'd pick Pitt, but since he's not I'm going with ATL. Cleveland at Tampa Bay Denver at Jacksonville Indianapolis at Houston Miami at Buffalo Detroit at Chicago Oakland at Tennessee Cincinnati at New England- This will be an absolute shootout and probably the GOTY. I hope Cincy wins but I think NE will pull it out. Arizona at St. Louis San Francisco at Seattle Green Bay at Philadelphia Dallas at Washington- I hope the Skins win but I think Dallas will.

I can't agree with that. Cincy's defense is pretty built. I can see game of the week...

I can't agree with that. Cincy's defense is pretty built. I can see game of the week... Yeah I meant to say GOTW, not GOTY. I agree that Cincy's D is built and better than NE's, but Brady rarely loses at Gillette Stadium. And BTW, you picked NE as well. |

As I said though, I meant to say GOTW. But it'll certainly be a shootout. Brady has Welker back which will open up the entire NE offense. Cincy's D is tough but Brady is hard to stop in Foxboro. I see him getting at least 270 and 2 TD's. |

| Carolina at NY Giants Atlanta at Pittsburgh Cleveland at Tampa Bay Denver at Jacksonville The Mile High Messiah will have a rushing TD out of the Wild Horses formation Indianapolis at Houston Miami at Buffalo Detroit at Chicago Oakland at Tennessee Oakland will be better but they still suck. Long live Al Davis.. Cincinnati at New England Is it just me or are people underrating the Pats? Arizona at St. Louis San Francisco at Seattle Green Bay at Philadelphia Dallas at Washington
Baltimore at NY Jets I think this game is a push... I'm not really buying the hype of the Jets San Diego at Kansas City I wouldn't be surprised to see the Chiefs win this one... The crowd is going to be crazy... First Monday night game in years and the opening game of the "New" Arrowhead.

So... you're admitting that they played terrible, but laughing at those who picked them to lose? They still won by 13 points, and Carolina failed to capitalize on the Giants' mistakes which I think can be corrected. All 3 of Eli's interceptions came from dropped balls from recievers. If that doesn't happen, we would have won by at least two more possessions. |

We'll see about that. And like I mentioned....those balls by the Giant recievers don't get dropped and the Giants win by at least 27. Eli was on point. |

As a Titans fan, I've watched them start 1-4, then win 10 of their last 11 (with a beat up McNair who didn't even practice during that stretch) to make the playoffs. And after the beatdown by the Pats last year (and the 0-6 start), they turned things around and finished 8-8. Maybe, just maybe, the Bengals heard what the "experts" were saying about them and believed their own hype. Maybe they needed this game to look at and motivate them to work harder. But, if you want to be a crappy fan and throw in the towel already, that's up to you.

But, if you want to be a crappy fan and throw in the towel already, that's up to you. Nah, i'm not a crappy fan. I'm calming down now. I am just really upset about the way that they played. If they came out and played hard and still got beat then that's fine. But they just got physically beaten up. I've been a Bengals fan since 87, so only a fellow bengal fan can know how it feels. Most teams have a few down years and then come back. The Bengals have been down since 90 with the exception of 2-3 mediocre years where they had a favorable schedule. It just gets frustrating for fans when it seems like nothing ever changes. Maybe they'll come out with a chip on their shoulder next week and prove something, but i don't have alot of faith.

So, I've witnessed the despair first-hand, though I can't say I know how it feels. Even if it doesn't happen next week, there's still a lot of football left to be played...and the Bengals are far from a bad team. I think they'll be in the playoffs.
