Biggie wins pretty easily for me. 3000 is a great rapper but he can't stay consistant. Like Mos Def he seems to want to act more than he does rap.

I've cooled alot on Andre ever since he decided he wanted to be like Prince. However, if i judge Andre's best work against Biggie's best work, then i'll go with Andre.

Big fan of Andre...but not more than Biggie...Biggie for me, even though it looks like he is going down in the 2nd round.

now back to the thread....this one is real simple for me....in my top 20 emcees of all-time 3 Stacks is ranked number 11...and Biggie is ranked number 3 so we already know who wins this one....Biggie LYRICALLY is just better than most including 3 Stacks....and Dre is dope...but lyrically he can't hang with BIG....faggots who don't see this man's lyrical/flow genius just don't completely understand hip-hop IMO....I don't care how much 2Pac dick you've been sucking all your under weight life...this should be plain and easy to see..

Biggie's flow and delivery are almost unrivaled. Story telling is a push to me. Lyrically, Andre gets him.

Andre kills biggie in flow and delivery... biggie could never deliver the complex lyrics Andre delivered the way andre delivered... biggie's flow sounds good spitting that playa/street shit, but who's doesn't?

Lyrically Biggie is getting Andre IMO....and nothing that Pedro says will change my mind regarding that....I mean this is a guy who thinks that Mac Dre is "complex" for God's sake....

Andre was consistently dope for 4 straight records(all of which have been called a classic by some). Biggie was consistent for 2 albums. IMO, your criticism doesn't seem too valid, but to each their own i suppose.

well I'll tell you this much....Andre IMO was not "complex" at all....he was actually alot like Biggie or Kane or even Jay-Z in that respect....meaning he didn't have to use a bunch of big words to get his point across and it still came through loud and clear....

that big vocabulary style that Gift Of Gab or T La Rock used works for some but not for others and Dre didn't need it man....his voice...his flow...and his lyrics were enough....samething with Biggie....I just think that Biggie did it just a little bit better than Andre did.....I can't go wrong with either one of these dudes....both are completely ILL emcees....

What I meant was he's not consistant rapping wise. Like he likes to sing and shit more than rap now.

Plus Andre had to only write one fucking verse per song most of the time. How hard is that? Biggie is the more complete artist imo. The man held down solo albums. Andre is waay overrated as much as Biggie is. I'm not 100% sold on Dre until I hear a true rap solo album from him. Then I will put him back on my solo GOAT list.
