Pac wins in the beat down of the century. Ghost is as charismatic as Pac is easily and his delivery is just as passionate imo. But Pac is killing him lyrically, subject matter, discog, and flow wise. I'll give them a tie for delivery.

Never heard.
Oh, oops. I'm not a really big fan of either, but I'll give the edge to Tony Stark.

Ghost is better lyrically IMO
Ghost has a better catalog
Their subject matter is even because Ghost during his career has touched on a bunch of things, just like Pac has
Pac is a bigger legend
Charisma is a tie IMO
Flow is a tie IMO
overall Ghost is the better emcee IMO...he wins!

Ghost is the better MC IMO, lyrically its not even close. Ghost may not have had the individual impact Pac had but Ghost does things Pac could never do

substance does not equal lyrical, if anyone can understand it then thats not lyrical
lyrical is making you think, decipher, and then being like "oh shit he really said that"
anyone can talk about problems and things anyone can understand, its hard to piece together words/phrases/metaphors that people actually have to think about - that is lyrical to me, not talking about things ANYONE has the knowledge of talking about
i mean i can go and rap and talk about the same shit Pac did- i wouldnt have the voice, flow, or charisma of Pac but ANYONE can speak on that subject matter is all im saying - lol would you consider ME lyrical then??? didnt think so

Lyrical is not as one dimensional as you are trying to make it. Lyrical is how you piece together your words very well to provoke emotion in the listener or reader. So yes it is methaphors and word play but its also subject matter and content. And see that shows me you have a lot to learn about hip hop and life period. People want to realte to the artist, they want to hear them talk bout things common people go through. There are not many people who want to hear a bunch of artist just talk over there heads and shit. This is why Pac is legend and Ghost will not be. And I luv Ghost, but real is real.

ummm you can relate to lyrics that arent straightforward, at least i can
and Ghost DEFINITELY provokes emotion in the listners. I mean not to sound like a douche but i could write a lot of Pac's lyrics if i really tried, i could never write Ghost's.

Nah, ghost is lyrical, but so is pac. They are different types of lyrical, but lyrical nonetheless. You can't understand ghost sometimes he's so out there - that is not good lyricism. Pac is not "complex" but at the same time someone is bullshitting themselves if they say they could write lines like:
You know they got me trapped in this prison of seclusion Happiness, living on the streets is a delusion Even a smooth criminal one day must get caught Shot up or shot down with the bullet that he bought Nine millimeter kickin' thinking about what the streets do to me Cause they never talk peace in the black community All we know is violence, do the job in silence Walk the city streets like a rat pack of tyrants Too many brothers daily heading for the big penn bunnies commin' out worse offthan when they went in Over the years I done alot of growin' up Getten drunk thrown' up Cuffed up Then I said I had enough There must be another route, way out To money and fame, I changed my name And played a different game Tired of being trapped in this vicious cycle If one more cop harrasses me I just might go psycho And when I get 'em, I'll hit 'em with the bum rush Only a lunatic would like to see his skull crushed Yo, if your smart you'll really let me go 'G' But keep me cooped up in this ghetto and catch the uzi They got me trapped....
the fuck out of here... and that's not even pac's best verse...

This is a brutal matchup. They both certainly have their endearing qualities and timeless stuff. A gun to my head I guess I'll say Pac but this is certainly no landslide.

This is definitely worthy of a good debate. I was just spinnin' my Best Of 2 Pac playlist the other day. However, I spin Ghostface more, so I gotta go with him.

back in 1986 Run-D.M.C. released a song called "Dumb Girl".....of course tranny has never even heard of this group nor the song before in his/her life, but that doesn't matter, what does matter right now is that for some reason I just read what he/she wrote and that particular song came to mind.....hmmmmm
this song fits you to a fuckin TEE, tranny....this shit is your theme song....it explains your particular way of expression and thinking....

My #1 vs #2... Ironman wins due to versatility, style, delivery, charisma, content, individuality, and innovative dopeness... Pac doesnt lack in any of these areas but GFKs body of work speaks for itself. Been spittin lazer beams since the first line of 36 Chambers, almost 20 years and he still keeps true hip-hop fans hungry for more.
