Ghostface wins, I spin him more than Pac nowadays.

Pac wins in the beat down of the century. Ghost is as charismatic as Pac is easily and his delivery is just as passionate imo. But Pac is killing him lyrically, subject matter, discog, and flow wise. I'll give them a tie for delivery.

Ghost has a better catalog

Their subject matter is even because Ghost during his career has touched on a bunch of things, just like Pac has

Pac is a bigger legend

Lyrical is not as one dimensional as you are trying to make it. Lyrical is how you piece together your words very well to provoke emotion in the listener or reader. So yes it is methaphors and word play but its also subject matter and content. And see that shows me you have a lot to learn about hip hop and life period. People want to realte to the artist, they want to hear them talk bout things common people go through. There are not many people who want to hear a bunch of artist just talk over there heads and shit. This is why Pac is legend and Ghost will not be. And I luv Ghost, but real is real.

Nah, ghost is lyrical, but so is pac. They are different types of lyrical, but lyrical nonetheless. You can't understand ghost sometimes he's so out there - that is not good lyricism. Pac is not "complex" but at the same time someone is bullshitting themselves if they say they could write lines like:

This is a brutal matchup. They both certainly have their endearing qualities and timeless stuff. A gun to my head I guess I'll say Pac but this is certainly no landslide.

This is definitely worthy of a good debate. I was just spinnin' my Best Of 2 Pac playlist the other day. However, I spin Ghostface more, so I gotta go with him.
