I like Pac more but I thik Nas is the betta lyricists. Both are top 5 for me and Nas is number 3 and Pac is number 4. I flip flop them all the time though. Pac has one album that I will take over Nas whole disocg but Nas has been here longer and his discog overall is stronger.

I'll give it to Nas but I'm cool either way.

One comment about Pac.

Over the years whenever I discussed hip hop with someone, when the topic of "favorite artist" came up, Pac has always been mentioned the most. Nothing wrong with that though. Just thought I should point that out.

Nas number 3 in my book.

Nas easily, he beats Pac in every catagory except influence IMO. And I'd say they're tied when it comes to subject matter.

Going with Nas quite comfortably...

Pac has him beat in the impact and probably charisma categories...both have legendary status...flow goes to Pac, but I'm giving delivery to Nas, and the lyrical part is most definitely Nas, the overall catalog of albums also IMO should go to Nasir as well...

Nas is the GOAT emcee....he's the best one of the dudes still standing easily IMO

not hard for me... Pac is the better rapper... nas is the better lyricist, that's probably the only category Nas has going for him... Pac has a better flow, subject matter, etc. etc. etc... more heads think of Pac as a real goat...better albums, more classics, etc.

IMO subject matter between these 2 dudes is even.....Nas talks about a bunch of real shit just like Pac does.....what really kills Pac here IN MY OPINION is his lyrics and the way he puts words together...meaning he's does it pretty good but overall IN MY OPINION he's average lyrically....maybe even above average...but Nas lyrically IN MY OPINION is just sick....the way he puts his words together is so much better than Pac does it.....and then Nas's catalog is better too IN MY OPINION.....Nas just has better albums IN MY OPINION...and Pac doesn't have an Illmatic...not many emcees do

again this is all my opinion, that's all! both of these dudes could be considered the GOAT emcee but in my opinion you have to be pretty lyrical to have that title and Pac just isn't lyrical enough, nor is his catalog good enough!

IMO Me Against The World is the finest effort to ever come out of the west...but in my opinion Illmatic is beating it up pretty well...too many dope producers, too many dope lyrics, too many dope songs.....Me Against The World is a dope effort as well with some smokers by Eazy Moe Bee on it as well as a few others and Pac's emotional level on it is unmatched by any other hip-hop effort ever released in my opinion, but even with that Illmatic is still winning overall again in my opinion

Illmatic is the best album between either MC. MATW would be second, but then after that I'm taking Lost Tapes, Stillmatic and IWW over anything else by Pac.

I'm voting Nas. I simply like him better than Pac. Both have acquired legendary status though.

One of the main factors in my voting Nas is he has been in the game longer and I have watched him progress into what he is today still killin it lyrically. Pac was taking in his prime and I want to leave it there. Its very close and like I said whoever wins this i'm good with.

How about the dude that didn't put out "Nastradamus"? Pac wins because his quality control was ALWAYS there. He didn't wait until he left Interscope for them to put out his best work since his first album. Nas will prove my point by releasing a shitty "Lost Tapes Vol 2" that he actually has input on.

If Biggie was in my top 5 and went against Nas or someone elsein my top 5 also then him dying early would count against him. This is what made it so hard for me because since I dropped Cube to 5 I can't decide if I want Pac or Nas at number 2.
