In addition to everything else I've been bumping recently, lol, I've bumped The Documentary and The Doctor's Advocate. I also had a discussion with a fellow co-worker this week about Game's first two albums. I asked him which album was better between these two, and he said Doctor's Advocate, because it's "his most well rounded album". What do you all think?

Close call but I go with Documentary. Doc's Advocate is way better than most people think though. It crushes LAX. And Untold Story if you ever listened to that for some reason.

The Doc easily. But Doc Ad is no slouch just his 3rd best album. LAX beats that mofo down with lead pipes and chains.

Cosign with Doc's Advocate being better than most people think. It certainly is better than LAX, which is a 4 star album in its own right.

The Documentary

i just listened to LAX for the first time in a long time and i almost made a thread about it...

The Game's performance on LAX is seriously one of the WORST mic performances ive heard on an album from a supposed "respected" artist in a long time. i mean for a 4 year old couldve wrote that album! The name dropping is excessive and horrendous, the subject matter is so cliche and bland, i seriously think Game's performance on there is so insanely bad i dont know how people listen to that for anything but the beats (which some are good)

his performance is actually downright horrendous on LAX

The Documentary is the better album. Doctor's Advocate is dope too, but The Doc is his best work yet.

even so, the only thing worthy abou those songs are Nas' and Raekwon's verses. Game talks about how he bumps 36 Chambers and listens to Wu the whole time, i mean its absolute garbage

Naw, I didn't actually laugh, lol, but I knew the lyrics were a small step down from the first 2 albums.

I agree Slang. I am not sure what Game was doing on LAX. The lyrics weren't up to par on most joints. I still have it at a 3.5. I also think that this is one of the reasons why his 4th album hasn't been released yet. All of the songs that I did hear sounded nothing like music that Game would normally release. I like his albums in the order that they were released and Doctor's Advocate smashes LAX.

LAX is lyrical to me. Only neg about that album is he could have shorted the trk listing. Its a tad long winded.

Its a close call. I tend to go with Doc's Ad because The Doc was waaaaaaaaaaaay played out and that is the worst possible thing that can happen to an album. And 50 is gay as fuck.

I think that got scrapped. They'll have some beats on the album, but they won't be producing the whole album.
