DITC do not have many consensus classic albums either. But we have Lifestyles, Word Life, and I will add Stunts Blunts.

Funky Technician is their most "consensus" classic, thats also one of Primo's most underrated works (he did half the album)

Nah I think Stunts Blunts and Lifestylez is waaaay more concensus than Funk Tech. Runaway Slave...no chance.

Funk Tech is a landmark album, Finesse was being compared to Rakim and BDK after it

Pretty much got the final list. Since it will take a good while to get threw this 1st round some albums can be dropped and changed. I will hold the "questionable ones" until the very last minute.

Rounds 1 & 2 polls will only be open for 1 day. After that I will switch to 2 days for the rest.

Well, in general, Stillmatic is sure fire, but I don't think that album is close to classic, and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only person on here who thinks that way.

You guys have to realize that every body will not be 100% satisfied with the entire list. I strecthed this to 128 just to try to make it as fair as possibile for some of your fav albums to be represented. Is the list perfect? Nope. Never will be. But I think he have a pretty damn good list. Very diverse and no red tape or politics.

Also, it's not going to matter if it is in the tourney because you'll just put it against either Illmatic (or some other east coast standard) or against another midwest album then put that next to two east coast standards so they both lose out immediately.

The best thing I can recommend is if you truly feel strongly about an album making it. Please feel free to campaign for it to make it. And suggest what it should replace. It will alll be on you. I'm moving on but this round one is huge so it can be slipped in.

I co-sign all these picks, but KRob already had his mind made up. Again, lack of integrity in the picks which is why I will be doing this tourney over when he's done.

Basically you want to set it up for all those albums you luv so much to have chance right? Just say that and be real about it. No need to hide behind false pretense. Like I said there is all types of flav's bing repped on this list. But no album gets a free ride. And some artist do have mulitple classic albums, is this not true?

KRob, what N3R0 is trying to say is that you won't consider anyone's choices. He thinks you already know which albums are going to make it, and which aren't. I believe he is wrong.

Gotcha Shaun "lol". I figured he was trying to go there. A good amount of albums on this list i'm not a fan of. And I there's a lot of peoples personal classics on here also. Like I said I went through you guys top 10 fav albums to help compose a nice balanced list.

I also mentioned if someone felt very strong about an album that is not on the list please feel free to campaign for it and which should be removed.

this is the same thing that happened with the GGOAT. Basically, if Kevin thinks you are "cool" he will listen to your suggestions, if he has some preconceived notion about you or doesn't like you he will dismiss you and then pretend he has a good reason to do so.

That said, I thought his first list was pretty thorough.
