| Not much discussion for Almighty yesterday so we'll try another one today. If the thread doesn't pick up then i'll kill it after another day or 2. For day 2, how's this one holding up?
Nas "Untitled"
This one got more attention for it's title or lack thereof then the actual quality of the product. When it was new i gave it a 4.5 and really liked it. However, some of the album has just gotten old to me. Still dope and i still really like "Breathe", "Sly Fox", and "Fried Chicken", but, my rating has come down from a 4.5 to a 4.0. It probably ranks 6th in his discog to me.

| It's still around 4.25-4.5 stars. Some of the beats and Fried Chicken bring the rating down for me. | |

| I felt this was about 3.5, if I remember correctly. I haven't spent much time on it since. I'll re-listen today. Was it Steve saying white people couldn't like this album because it wasn't made for them? Or Kevin? | |

| I probably cosigned someone else saying that. Who knows.
Anyway, this one actually got better for me. I wasn't seeing the classic in it a lot of others were screaming at the time. Some of the production was aiight. But now with time it has really grown on me. The lyrics and subject matter carry this album. I got it at a 4.5 myself. |

Nas albums obviously aren't known for production, this might be his worst. I really think my problem with this and HHID is that I can't stand to listen to Nas blow himself for entire albums. He drank his own Kool-Aid on that poet-leader alter ego. He ain't saving shit, and nobody's looking to him for anything. Self-importance is what it boils down to.

| Co sign parker. I got this at around 3.5. Has some good songs, some boring songs, some real commercial sell out songs. |

| This album is good 3.5-4/5 but i find that to be a disappointment for a top 5 all-time emcee | |

| I still bump this album from time to time and is the best album released in the last 2 years IMO. |

| Dope album. I actually just played it a month or two ago. I still have it at my initial rating of 4 stars. | |

| Meh it has aged I find. My rating for it hasn't dropped too much as it sits somewhere at 4.25 or so. The production is lack-luster but what else is new.
The only songs that have me coming back to listen to this album are Project Roach and Hero.

| I still bump this regularly, just like the rest of Nas' discog. Still gets 5 stars from me. It certainly was the best album released in 2008. | |

| Wasn't feeling this album, have no desire to bump again after about 4 spins. 2.75 stars. | |

You think this is better than Distant Relatives? You crazy. I've stated before that I like Untitled better than DR. Both are 4.5-4.75 star albums but Untitled has more standouts IMO. |

| When i first heard this, it was second best from that year (best was eMC). It was about 4/5 stars. But it didn't have so much replay value for me, its maybe 3.5 stars now. My favorite songs are Queens get the money (rappers should do more songs without the drums imo) and Sly fox. | |

| Sly Fox is a great track. Check out No Spin Zone from SCFB...not as serious, but still targeting all the over-the-top pundits and news personalities that seem to have completely brainwashed our country. | |

| this one is 5 stars easily for me...it was in 2008 and it is now and for the exact same reason...the lyrics....the overall themes...I just think this was Nas's Ghetto Blueprint...this was his "thinking man's" cd....the production isn't as bad as some have been saying either IMO
5 stars abound baby bubba!
