Let's talk about this album right here. Some 12 years after its release, what are your thoughts on this album and do you feel it's gotten better with time?

It's the same with time to me. I mean it remains one of the most homolicious wu album covers... the music itself was hated one early I guess because it pales in comparison to the original Tical... I enjoyed it for what it was... a darker meth, a bit misguided... but it has remained the same... somewhere in the 3 to 3.5 range maybe

It's certainly nowhere near the original Tical, and I've always gave this a 4 star rating. I haven't bumped it in a while, but I may be revisiting it soon.

This album is too fucking long. Meth never needs to exceed the 12-14 trk range imo.
And I haven't played this album in yrs. And I have no urge to either.

I always felt this was close to 4 stars...like Kevin says, it's too long and the quality suffers as a result. In my opinion, the damage is isolated to complete tracks that I don't care for...rather than every song suffering. The tracks that I like I like a lot.
I agree that my opinion of this album has not changed a whole lot since it first dropped.

Never really liked this one much. Like Kev said, I haven't bumped it in ages and I have no desire to now. Meth wasn't really bringing the heat IMO.

There are some really great tracks on 4:21, but there's some turds on there, too. Overall I'd say Tical 2000 has more bangers.

I haven't played this CD in years. Once I got burned by buying Tical 0:The Prequel, I said that I would never buy a Method Man solo album again so I never got 4:21. I may spin this since it has been a minute but I won't be rushing to do so..lol

There are certainly some bangers on Tical 2000, I really liked Retro Godfather, Torture, Dangerous Grounds, Elements, Killin' Fields and Big Dogs, but other than that there's not much everything else to remember. I bought it when it came out, I listened to it recently but I didn't find any replay value over years. Tracks like Spazzola, Sweet love and Suspect Chain Music are boring to me. My rating could be 3.5 stars.
