| I'm kind of new to their work. I've had "Violent By Design" for a while now and love it. I just got "Servants In Heaven" and i may even like it better. I also have AOTP "Unholy Terror" and Vinnie "Season Of The Assasin". All of them are 4 star or better albums. Wanted some opinions on the next 3 that i've targeted based on reading reviews. The 3 are:
AOTP "Torture Papers" AOTP "Ritual Of Battle" JMT "The Psycho Social CD"
Thanks for any feedback.

| Torture Papers is the best AOTP. LEgacy of Blood is my favorite JMT..check out some snippets or videos.
To address your whole question, I gues...
ROB fell short to me, but it could just be the lack of Apathy. It's definitely AOTP, which really can only be just so bad. Psych-social is the most different from all their albums. Definitely sample before you buy. I like Visions of Gandhi better.

| Torture Papers is the best album on your list. I'd say it's 4.25-4.5 stars). ROB is solid , but a step down from Torture Papers. It's actually my least favorite AOTP album. I would need to spin the JMT album again to give you an honest rating, but i remember it being underwhelming. | |

| Torture Papers is the best AOTP group album and i cosign Parker about ROB. Its good but somewhat underwhelming.
Violent By Design is by far my favorite work from them followed by Servants in Heaven. Psycho-Social is really dope to me but yea its a little different from their other stuff...its very raw and the lyrics resemble stuff you'd hear on a Lost Children of Babylon album (if you're familiar with them). The best songs on Psycho-Social are some of JMT's best songs, period though IMO. In terms of their other three albums id rank them Visions of Ghandi, then Legacy of Blood, then History of Violence. Psycho-Social is tied with Visions for their 3rd best to me and Vinnie's delivery is a lot less gritty on there.

| Guess its time for me to stop sleeping on AOTP's. I always avoided it because I thought of them as just a clone of JMT's. And as most know Paz annoys me on the mic solo wise. But maybe with the variety of sytles I can get into it.
I'm going to check it out for myself but are they basically a clone of JMT?

| No, there are plenty of different voices, styles and flows to keep it fresh, and the production differs from JMT. | |

i would say to get all the JMT albums to be honest. History of Violence may not be essential though but its got some bangers. Every other JMT album id get for sure, with HOV being a maybe, but still good enough to get

| Id check out the lttle known JusAllah solo album All Fates Have Changed. Don't worry he uses his old style from VBD, not his new stupid Mr. Hyde style. That album has JMT written all over it, he kept the same formula that made JMT popular in the first place. Jus goes hard on every track. I love this line:
"I'm way beyond the hating stage/ make you bathe with razor blades/ with someone gay with AIDS/ I'm the God who waived his chance at being saved"
