Daily thread idea number 101

I am thinking about doing a by year tourney of the best album from said year. I will do a tourney for each year in hip hop up to current. So this tourney will last a good minute. I will select the albums for the tourneys and post daily.

Anyone thinks this will be interesting or not?

Seems like this forum is only kept alive with these type of things.

I will combine 84-86 together since not many albums dropped individually. Than we will go head on from there.

i think letting other people make the list for different tourneys will create a lot more diverse tourneys. Every tourney you start you generally create the base list, listen to some opinions, but you ultimatey make the decision. i think you should give that power to other people and you be one of the bystanders for some of these things. You should still do the tourney but let someone else have the final list say/power, and i dont necessarily want it either but just saying

So to Slang the tourneys are not "diverse". And I am the one who puts in the time for these things. And as we know when I ask for others input it opens the floodgates for tons and tons of extra shit. But during this tourney I will ask for albums I may miss especially when we get toward the late 90's and 00's.

I'm cool either way though. Whether you take part or you don't.

Its going to be the same albums we always talk about and nominate. Since its by year it leaves the choices more open and diverse.
