Apollo Kids or Shaolin Vs Wu Tang

which artist do you think came harder? both albums are classics but i think Ghost came a little harder this go round.. but can't go wrong with either.. it was good to see Rae follow up OBFCL2 with another classic unlike he did with OBFCL...

Just listened to both today, and I have to say that Rae is better. But not by much.

I still haven't heard either in full. Every track (7 or 8 ) that I've heard from Apollo Kids was fire, though

Both of these are not classics....lol.

Anywayz, I like Rae's album better. That Ghost album is good but not as good as I think it could have been,

Co-sign!!! And Kev, the Rae is very close to being a classic to me. With time, it could very well get there.

I don't think it's a landslide but the Rae is better.....Cuban Linx 1 is a classic and IMO this isn't even better than Cuban Linx 2. It's a damn good CD though.

Apollo Kids pretty easily. Rae's replay is dying down for me.

I would say it's a PUSH between these two dope efforts...both of them have given me new hope for 2011 hip-hop....The Rae effort is much better IMO than Cuban Linx 2 and the Ghost effort is better than his last r&b effort (although I really liked that one too)...these 2 legends have given us some extremely bangin efforts in 2011...I've got them as the top 2 of this year so far..tied for that slot!

Wasn't Apollo Kids 2010?

It came out in December so yeah it's the final part of 2010...going into 2011!

I like the beats on Apollo Kids. They're all dope.

as for Apollo Kids all 12 songs are bangers, even the guest verses are fire! best album ghost has put out since fishscale

This thread should have come with a poll. Nevertheless, my vote is for Shaolin vs Wu-Tang. I have it at 4.75 and Apollo Kids at 4.25.

Apollo kids was weak

I simply can not fathom the hype behind Shaolin vs Wu-Tang. It's a cool album but there are some parts in the album that are just boring IMO or simply can not hold my attention. I felt some of the tracks did not live up to the potential (Rich & Black, Masters of fate for example). It's a cool album (3.5 - 3.75 stars) still but I might have expected too much from it.

Still need to check out the Ghostface album...

I'll take Rae's.

I'm changing my answer. Rae's is very nice, but I've been bumpin' Ghost much more lately.
