| http://www.unknownprophets.com/To those who don't know - this is my favorite beat-maker/rapper/songwriter out of Minneapolis. He has been since about 2004. Call me a stan... I found out about these a couple days ago, but apparently they've been out a couple weeks. 2 albums...both 35-40 minutes....both different concepts. Verdict? Dopeness. After the last Unknown Prophets album, I was way nervous he would venture into a more rock oriented album. But these ain't no Unknown Prophets album. They are Big Jess albums. And Big Jess albums are always pure hip-hop. Drenched with heart and soul as usual, this is just the type of work I was looking for from Jess. These will be spinning in the CD player all summer! Finally something to get 2011 started (for me anyway). I wish I could buy 'em....
