Big Mike

I almost voted neither but he would make my personal top 100 and when you include his 1st two albums, the one with the Geto Boys, and The Convicts album and his lyrics and delivery/flow he's a shoe in for me.

Big Mike is in my top 100. 1 classic solo. 1 is almost a classic. His third is decent enough. Til Death Do Us Part is at least 4.5 stars, and The Convicts album is probably one of the best albums no one has ever heard.

Top 100, he's the 2nd best MC in Geto Boys history and Somethin Serious is a classic.

How does Trick make it over Snoop Dogg, Ice T, MC Lyte, Salt N Pepa, The Beastie Boys, Doug E Fresh and other acts that you voted neither on that are CLEARLY better in all aspects than Trick Daddy?

Big Mike had a classic solo album and a near classic. Till Death Do Us Part with the Geto Boys is also a near classic. I've tried to get into Trick Daddy but just couldn't. I copped the Thugs R Us album and rated it 3.5 because the production is good, but lyrically he's well below average.

well boy wonder i voted doug e fresh and ice t top 100, and snoop dogg doesnt make it cuz he sold out. its very obvious you have heard very little trick daddy, maybe just the one album you list. which i guarantee you downloaded. youre worse than cise starr when it comes to judging artists based off downloading their work 10 years later.

and salt n pepa and mc lyte dont do shit for me, they get overrated by some because they like it when a woman has so-so rhymes.

Lyte and SNP is a BILLION TIMES BETTER than Trick! I doubt you've ever listened to a Lyte or SNP album. You just don't like the idea of a female on the mic.

Snoop didn't sell out, he transcended hip-hop and opened doors for a lot of artists. His discog is better than Trick's. I've heard other albums by Trick because a few of my friends like him, but they didn't do enough for me to go out and buy him.

Say what you will about the way I vote, but at least I have criteria. Whereas you vote on nothing more than your personal preference.

well kj, if there was a criteria for this, then everyone would agree 100% right? we'd all get the same artists, but wait for it....wait for it....PERSONAL PREFERENCE comes in to play.

top 100 EASILY!

His debut is a classic, and his sophomore is a near classic. Not to mention the GB album...

Nah, but I just read up on it...the 1991 album (which looks like all they have). Is it that dope? I thought you said it wasn't that great, but I could be mistaken.

It is a classic and back then one of my fav albums but the message may be a little dated now but I know you like that older sound. Big Mike and 3-2 have a lot of chemistry and there some classic trks on this album that get talked about to this day by fans.
