| LL wins but it's not a blowout. That Channel Live album was a dope effort. | |

| that Channel Live effort was about 3 stars IMO....it had Mad Izm which was ridiculous and a few other select cuts but that was about it....
Mr.Smith was a 4.5 stars effort IMO....it was an r&b/hip-hop sounding effort from Cool J and was a pretty dope album especially when you consider that Doin' It, I Shot Ya, Hey Lover added on with No Airplay, Make It Hot, and Hip-Hop were all on there....

I agree with the 4.5 star rating for Mr. Smith, but Channel Live was 4 stars easily IMO. The production was bangin and it was pretty dope lyrically as well.

| I peeped it off the strength of Mad Izm, which was one of my favorite songs of 95. While this album is definitely trumped by a lot of 95 albums (which has more to do with the amount of classics released rather than individual quality). It was still a dope effort. | |
