| Anybody else heard this yet? I just got through my first spin and it is dope as hell! Gotta listen to it a few more times before I can come up with a rating but I love it so far.

| I am definitely getting this and the 9th Wonder. They will be in DC on October 16th along with some folks from The Away Team. As Powell said, this is a must buy.... | |

| So this is a hip hop album? If so I'll check it. I just don't care to listen to Phonte singing. He's not bad, but If I'm listening to Phonte I want to hear some Rhyming. | |

| Taylor, you def won't be disappointed. While he does sing on here a few times, it is in addition to his rhyming (except for To Be Yours which is more of an interlude). The beats are dope and Tiggalo has an ever-so-slightly-altered flow on some tracks that I found refreshing for a bit of a change. Help on the album from Pharoahe Monch, Big KRIT, Evidence and others are all very complementary. My early rating after one spin is 4.0. It will most likely end up as a fav from this year. Get it! | |

| I got this last night and just skimming it I was highly impressed. Save for some of the singng trks its sounds like it will have top 10-15 potential for this year. I agree with Wand this is str8 grown folk music. Its on deck for my next album rotation. | |

| Yeah, I'm not a huge Phonte or LB fan, but i'm impressed with the album. Phonte's doing his thing for most of the album. I hope the 9th Wonder album is just as good. Tuesday's shaping up to be a solid release date. I'm excited for Cats & Dogs. I've heard good things about the J. Cole, but i'm still on the fence. I'll probably cop it too though. | |

| Damn, Syrup, what up wit the Tiggalo hate? Just cuz he's southern and he aint swangin and bangin? lol
And yeah, I'm def checkin that 9th and Ev. I'll get the J Cole too but I'm also skeptical about that dude. He started off with some dope mixtapes but seems to have fizzled out as of late. | |

| Everyone say that J. Cole is a classic. I'm a spotify bunny now, but I will peep them all come Tuesday and eventually buy the ev and j cole for sure... I fucking hate 9th... only reason I still have not bought death of a pop star... | |

| Yeah man, it does, and I own every single Banner CD except for that one... but I dunno, I was peeping some of the shit and I will be getting Death of a Pop Star with my second next pay check. Phonte doesn't annoy me as much as Big Poop and 9th though... | |

| Alright, so this started out real strong and ended well, but I was a little put off by the string of love/relationship songs in the middle... could have broken em up or done something else... other wise this gets a thumbs up from me. Solid 3.5 | |

| I'm with you on all counts Pedro. I can't stand 9th either, and I spun this LP on Spotify, had a few great tracks and mostly was pretty good. 3.5 for me as well. | |

| My original high on this album kinda wore out. I actually like the singy relationship tracks, but they do take away from the overall strength of the album. After a shitload of spins I'm rating it back down to 4.0. Still a dope album. | |

| I'm feelin this album. It's Phonte's best performance since The Minstrel Show. It does have an R&B vibe to it but I'm ok with that because I'm an R&B fan. Phonte does rhyme throughout the album though and does so well. 4 stars for this joint. | |

| After 3 spins, I have this in the 4.25-4.5 range. It may not be my final rating because since I have listened to a lot of Little Brother & Foreign Exchange in the past 2 weeks, my rating is a little biased. This is the best that I have heard Phonte rappin' since "The Minstrel Show" and since I dig "Authenticity", I don't have a problem with the singing either. ...Just my take | |
