Top 10 Greatest (Region Edition)

Okay, I would like for everyone to list a breakdown of their top 10 by coast. I am thinking no grps allowed just individual artist. I will use these list for the nominations which will be broken into a Top 5 and Top 10 bracket. I am assuming we will use Jason's point system and hopefully he doesn't mind keeping up with the records. If anybody feels grps should be included please suggest it and majority will rule.

each their own list


I say you nominate the big dogs one by one Kev and once majority votes 10 people int he top 10 then that's it.

I voted to include groups

Imo it gets tricky when you include grps because some grp members have a solo career as storng as the grp career. At least doing it solo rap wise there will be no double slots taken by the same crew.

I would keep groups and solo artists separate, but i'd still do a top 10 for each.

I still need to include groups with mine. Because Q-Tip won't make it on ATCQ. MCA, Ad Rock or Mike D would never make it without Beastie Boys. Will Smith would never make it without DJ Jazzy Jeff...etc.

You know one of you are welcome to handle this also..right? Like Esco you can do the producer poll or maybe Slang since he seems to be consistant.

Yeah top 50 would be a good number...The best advise I can give you is stay consistant thats the most important and be diverse with your nominations. Ask for nominee suggestions from us.
