Baking soda for toothpaste in a good idea.

I use baking soda to brush my teeth every day.

Yeah man, I grew up in the burbs. It was just a ghetto ass burb, lol. Palm Bay is considered the hood around these parts but its still a suburb.

Being ghetto is an attitude. I spent most my child hood living on military bases and we did "ghetto" things growing up. Its not just about being trifling its about improvisin'. We ate fuckin' Popeyes cereal more than any other cereal cause it was cheap as hell , used paper plates for dust pans, then found the real dust pan after we're done cleaning up. I drank red Kool-Aid. And to get really ghetto (those whose fimiliar with the military knows this one) we'd eat MREs (ready 2 eat) meals my dad brought home from his barracks. These meals were engineered for soldier s in the field and came in bulky green packages. My dad gave us that to eat for school lunch. How ghetto is that?

Lol...I wasn't really going that way with it. My moms used to keep all our important docs like SS cards and birth certs in a ziploc under the mattress. And all these ghettoisms are logical imo, so that shouldn't disqualify them.

...sitting milk and other perishables in the window sill because the lights "got cut off".

...packing 8-9 of your cousins, and friends in a car designed for 4-5 people.
