All color issues aside, Spielberg is a much better and more consistent director than Spike Lee. His movies have much more replay value.

Spielberg is indeed better than Spike Lee.

Spielberg is not better than Spike Lee, KJ is more white than black so of course he's on the white side.

Steven Spielberg has made TONS of classic flicks that will be remembered forever. Spike only has two (Do The Right Thing and Malcolm X).

Spike is excellent, but he's also released more duds than Spielberg has, and that's telling being that Spielberg has the longer filmography.

He's not even the best black director. John Singleton is better IMO.

Speilberg also did The Goonies and Munich. Munich is one of my all time favorites. Spielberg is very multifaceted. But due to my bias Im rolling with Spike. Spike could never get the backing like Mr. Berg. But can we all agree Tyler Perry is trash?

Yeah Tyler Perry sucks ass. He's overrated as all hell.

He can't fuck with Spike, Singleton, The Hughes Brothers, F. Gary Gray, or even Matty Rich.

Perry's problem even with his non-Madea flix is that he goes over the top with it so instead of having a cathartic dramatic moment he has a melodramatic moment.
