| Well I wouldn't really bother watchin out whole game. Japan tuned on the negative football switch which made the first half unbearable. I'd just tune into the second half but I won't spoil the result. | |

How could you support both Mexico and the US? That's like rooting for the Cowboys and the Deadskins.

Sorry but I can't hear you over the chants of Donovan scoring with 2 minutes left. Where's your damn patriotism ?

You guys deserved to win by all means but good luck is all I can say from here. You were expected to get out of the group so its not exactly a monumental achievement. Fans act like they've wont he world cup for crying out loud. Enjoy your moment.

Nobody respected me in the first place. I'm not bothered. How a Mexican fan can root for the US and vice versa is beyond me. That is the most serious rivalry in the CONCACAF region. Tons of bad blood.

| After seeing Argentina coast against Mexico I had them tagged to win it all.
Ghana was lazy on those two kicks and should have made that last penalty... but the game was one if not for a dirty uruguyuan swatting a sure goal away. It should be like basketball and goaltending in those cases.
I don't see Uruguay advancing to the finals. |

| Uruguay ain't beating us. Suarez will be suspended which is a major boost for us. That boy has been lighting this cup ablaze. Now we can focus more on containing Forlan but that's easier said than done.
The way Ghana lost was perhaps the worst and most heartbreaking event I've ever seen. I was rooting for Uruguay but I have to give props to Ghana for keeping it entertaining.
There is no way i can see Argentina winning it all. Out of Holland, Spain, Germany, and them, they have by far the worst defense and goalie. Villa/Torres, Podolski/Klose, or Van Persie/Robben/Elia will put them to the sword.
Can't believe we beat Brasil. All their nuthuggers were dead silent afterwards.

Netherlands- During my Eurostay, I frequented the Netherlands and traveled throughout..everything you heard about Amsterdam is true. Except hard drugs(Blow,Ice,Ex,etc.)..they arent sold there, at least commercially..I remember passing Haarlem and Breuklyn(spelled right?)..i thought i was in NYC till i saw fuckin windmills

| Brazil let head games get to them... your boy from Holland was flopping all around but it wasn't affecting the game, but Brazil let it get to them. |

| Robben is a clinical diver. I won't dispute that. Writhing around in pain and embellishing almost any contact (aka playing the Latin way). In addition, he is the most one footed player in the world. If he wasn't Dutch I'd probably hate him. ^_^
But yes Brasil did let the shenanigans get to them.

| That was surreal... the german defense was like a fortress and argentina had no punch in their offense. their defense was also very weak and the goalie's positioning as horrible on some of those goals...and mr. holland flops way more than any latin team...lol... |

| He sure flops around a lot and is tied with Ronaldo as the dive king. Nobody is disputing that.
I'd respect Latin players a lot more if they played like Tevez. When that man goes down you know he got fouled.
