BlackStar (Top 5 of all time) Train Of Thought (Top 30ish of all time) Eardrum (Easy top 100, IMO) Right About Now (Haters) Quality (Overrated by all of you fools) The Beautiful Struggle (Never Been In Love>>>>>>>)
I have Liberation laying around somewhere; haven't bumped it in a long time, though.

I honestly only listened to Beautiful Struggle a handful of times, then it came up missing. I guess I'm technically not qualified to rank it, but I remember being really disappointed. And, I definitely didn't feel the need to replace it. No way I would have felt that way about any of his other releases.
Actually, I feel the same about Eardrum. Everyone likes that so much that I really need to dig it out again. I must have not been in a Kweli type mood, or something. Maybe I bought it the same time as something I liked better. Maybe its just not for me.
I am a fan, though, so I will give both of these albums another shot.

I see what you're saying. I would personally take Eardrum over Beautiful Struggle.

Co-Sign. Eardrum is a 4.25 star album to me. Beautiful Struggle is about 3.75 IMO.

4.5 for Eardrum, 3.5 for Beautiful Struggle for me.
Beautiful Struggle probably falls in the 4.0-4.25 range for me. I think lyrically he is killing this album even though its a more accessibile sound on this one. I think the trk order could have been layed out way better. But I played it to death when it 1st dropped.

Never Been In Love is one of my favorites on the album.

Same rankings here (Ear Drum is definitely in the correct spot IMO), except I never heard Right About Now...always thought it was just a mixtape or something....never gave it much thought.
RPM falls somewhere around Quality for me.
