Where does Both Sides Of The Brain rank in his discog in your opinion?

Number 1

Maybe number 3 at best.

I Wish My Brother George Was Here is his best IMO, followed by Deltron 3030.

Probably number 4. Future Development is my fav followed by Deltron 3030 and I Wish.

i LOVE Both Sides of the Brain it is probably tied for 2nd or 3rd for me

i like a lot of Del albums equally...

honeslty id probably put Deltron 3030 one, then its almost a three way tied between No Need for Alarm, Brother George, and Both Sides

Wish My Bro G is his best to me. Del 3030 is good but nothing I would play on the regular. I am listening to Both Sides now and so far it may fall in 2nd for me. The production on it fits his style well.

Both Sides of the Brain is the most consistent album in Del's catalog. And that includes the patchy 3030.

Both Sides might be his best album lyric wise and a case could be made for it being his best period. Like Slang said all his album barring the Funk Man and 11th hour are quality. The separation between them isn't too far.

Number 4. Deltron, My Brother George and Alarm are superior.

Anyway, I think that Brain is a solid and consistent work.

To me, none of his albums are significantly better than the rest. The only exception is 11th Hour, that's definitely his worst effort. I couldn't blame anyone for putting any of the others as his best though. I love 'em all.

Anyone one know about the Golden Era Triple Pack Del is coming out with in April? Is it just a collection of his first three albums?

no the first album is all new stuff. Im not sure what the rst is gonna be, but i know at least one of the discs is definitely a new album

Ah, so it's a triple CD of a new album and the stuff he had released on his bandcamp... cool... it is being priced as a single CD so I will definitely cop this. I skipped 11th Hour and have no interest in it.

Both Sides of the Brain would be number 2 for me, right behind No Need For Alarm, one of my favorite albums of all time.
