Top 5.......of all time for me.

at least top 10.

top 10 EASILY...one of the best combo's of a producer and an emcee...they complimented each other perfectly...

Neither personally but objectively I gave them top 10. Their impact and discog is to strong to ignore.

I don't disagree with that, but Guru holds his own. Otherwise they wouldn't have all those classics.

Well, who's the first emcee you think of when you think of DJ Premier? Guru. How else would this man get top 5-10 and not make top 100 on the individual artist polls if the combination of the two wasn't the best part of both artist's discography?

I'm not sure how most people would feel, but IMO his production on The Sun Rises In The East and on Livin Proof are probably the best of his career. With a career as dope as his, there's really no answer that is wrong.

His work with me was stellar... but I prefer gangstarr... group home is straight garbage in every respect.

I suppose. I know people have favorites as far as albums go. I still like the Gang Starr best. I meant mostly that most people connect Premier with Guru though. I think Guru had plenty to do with the chemistry involved in Gang Starr. DJ Premier may be a top 3 producer, but he's no miracle worker. lol
