I'm the owner of two snakes -- a 4 foot python named Hector and a 3 foot California King Snake named Rudy.

I have an incredible fear of rodents. This makes feeding my snakes a challenge.

I also have an incredible fear of heights and clowns. I freeze up whenever I'm near either one.

I shot at some guys that entered my apartment with his friends and tried to jump and rob me my sophomore year. They followed me home from a party after a fight. Same guys rolled up while I was walking to my mailbox two blocks away. Did it again then too. I only shot when outnumbered and they never showed up less than 4 deep.

I've been shot at several times. Reasons range from winning a basketball game to selling white boys oregano to mistaken identity to beating up a person and him wanting revenge. One specific time was when I was at a bus stop (no school bus system in DC) waiting to go home when some masked dudes rolled up, pointed a gun at me, and took my coat. They wanted my shoes too, but I ran. They chased and shot at me, but I got away in one piece.

I'm someone's husband and daddy now, none of this shit is recent. I stopped acting crazy years ago.

I do still own guns, though...

In elementary school my gym coach was a drunk, in a fit of rage he threw one of those red kick balls as hard as he could and hit the lone white girl in the class square in the face. She cried a lot. Some how we never found it necessary to tell our parents or other teachers.

He also made us hold our bodies in the push up position with our noses 1 inch from the ground for entire "classes" at a time. In retrospect, I'm pretty sure 8 year olds shouldn't have been doing that.

When I was in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade I ran the 10K every year for some reason. It was a school sponsored event.

As a child, one of my parent's friends asked them if they would give me to them so they could raise me as their own.

I've always been smart and stayed out of trouble, for some reason that made me a good candidate for priesthood in the eyes of the people in my church.

I hate the people in my church.

My first two fights were pitiful. The first one I was so angry I was jumping up and down as I punched. The second I got manhandled by a scrawny little kid. In my defense he got jumped daily so he was a resourceful kid.

In middle school some little gang bangers threatened to kill me walking home from school. They thought I was white apparently. Thankfully their statement was "IF I had a gun right now, I'd shoot this white boy in the back of the head."

In middle school I also burned a kid in science lab. I made him hold a plastic bag full of hydrochloric acid as I poured in vinegar. I didn't realize you don't mic acids. The reaction burned a giant hole in his jeans. It also slightly damaged my new shoes. That was sad, about the shoes. I still wore those shoes though.

In high school I played baseball and soccer for two seasons, was on the freshman basketball team for a preseason, and was on the varsity football team for a day.

My basketball coach then was the brother of Oliver Miller.

I was also in the high school band for 3 years. One of my friends in the band also happened to be really good at football. He'd play a half of varsity football, take his should pads off, out on his drums, and then march with us for the half time show. He was really good on the drums, a real funny guy, and really loved his mama. His name was Thomas Herrion and he died while on the 49ers practice squad trying to make the team.

Nothing really interesting happened to me in college.

In law school I got pulled over by a K-9 unit while driving through central texas, waco to be exact. The cop accused me of a bogus traffic violation (failure to signal a lane change - TWICE!). He gave me a warning, and then asked me if I was transporting any guns or illegal drugs. He then asked to search my car. All of this would be pretty typical, except for the fact that when I refused to allow a search on constitutional grounds, he told me I needed to pull off the interstate so he could run the K-9 on my car. He then told me it would be best if I pulled into a convenience store, and then parked BEHIND the store so no one could see us. He tried to feed me some shit about me not being embarassed that way. I laughed in his face and told him that wasn't happening. He got mad, but I'm pretty sure I avoided a lengthy prison sentence that day.

Yep. When I delivered pizzas it taught me how to manage money. It was fun as hell. Not the highest paying job I had but but due to my circumstances at the time like no car payment and living in an apartment dirt-cheap, I had the longest cash than all my other jobs.

Did everything from blaze on the mall rooftop, mix rum with the frozen coke, hid a TV in the ceiling tiles and brought in my xbox and set it up behind the counter when my boss left for the day

Would trade pretzels for tons of different shit in the mall...anything from Cinnabons, shoe laces, free chocolate, candy, store discounts, smoothies, Subway, Thai Food the list goes on

I bought my first truck when i was 16, even though i didnt get a license until i was 18 and drove for 2 years without getting caught.

I started my first year electrician apprenticeship but wanted to work in the oil patch so i gave that up

I technically didnt have enough credits to graduate so my teacher made up classes i didnt take and gave me the extra credits so i would have to come back.

I have had alcohol poisoning 5 times, once every year since i started drinking.

I had the same girl friend for 2 years and we lived together for 7 months.

You should see the guys i work with. We normally work between 100-200km away from home. So every day we have like a 1-2 hour drive back at the end of the day. We always stop for beer, every day unless theres a snow storm or something like that. We have that done by the time we get home. Most days i just go home, but the guys i work with sit at the shop and keep drinking. It amazes me how these guys can make $35 working 10 hour days every day and have nothing. Crappy house, crappy car.. nothing. Its because they spend it all at the bar and drinking. There is a bar just down the road from our shop, some of the guys have $1500 tabs going every month.
