It's whatever, I think this is EASILY a top album in the East and that's all that matters to me. Matter of fact, this is in my overall Top 25.

hmm this one is really close, my first reaction is to say top 50 but then when really thinking about the east region it may not be, but im gonna give it the benefit of the doubt and got top 50....in the 40's though

I think that some of the people here that voted that way didn't even hear the album. But it's whatever. This is easily one of the all time great albums IMO and many people among hip-hop nation feel the same way, it's just this forum that feels otherwise.

KJ, I have this album and it would likely make my top 100 east coast... but dude, brand nubian doesn't even have one gold album... so the hip-hop nation was not supporting them like you thought. This is just a critically acclaimed album, but is not very well known like other albums.

Many of the most critically acclaimed albums of all time weren't big sellers. You're right about it not being as well known as other albums, but to say it couldn't objectively be a Top 50 album is false. If it's not on your list that's fine, but objectively it belongs IMO.

KJ, you are in no position to say it is an objective top 50 album - why? Because you and a few friends like it? If you read what I have posted I never said it didn't belong in an objective list - i just said in my own opinion it was not top 50 and most of the people on this forum hold the same opinion.

It's whatever. While it's disappointing that this album didn't get more love in this forum, I'm honestly not surprised. At the end of the day, the most important opinion to me is my own.

Yeah One For All is a hip hop classic. Wild Cowboys is never spoken of that way. I wouldn't expect that one to make it or even get nominated but that's probably my favorite Brand Nubian related album and i'd vote top 50

Take it for however you want. All I know is that the views of this forum do not entirely reflect the views of hip-hop nation as a whole. Not saying that they don't matter, but I know people (not just from the East Coast either) that hold this album in higher regard than this forum does.

I'd say this forum is a well rounded microcosm.

I cosign. Wild Cowboys is a very good album, but not a classic IMO.

Top 50 for me personally. When I graduated from tapes to CDs, this was one of the first CDs that I had.
