'Land of the Lost' or 'The Hangover' ?

OK, so im headed to the theater on Friday, and these two are in limbo as far as what myself and my girl are going to see. Did anyone check 'em out? Land of the Lost was panned by critics and The Hangover surprisingly received decent reviews for being a slapstick, guy movie. My only reason for wanting to check out "Land..." is Danny McBride and Will Ferrell- so if anyones seen these 2, input??

You should pass on both. Use the money you would have spent, and buy beer. Then you can have a wild party with your girlfriend.

Uhhh...that was going to happen anyways, we usually 'pregame' it a bar before we head out...or afterwards get a bottle....so thats settled.....we both wanna go, so if anyone has useful advice on which to see, it'd be appreciated....

Both movies look like garbage. seriously, why would you want to see either when there are still better movies out there?

I seen both and i thought the hangover was much better. but to tell the truth i fucking hate Will Ferrell most of his movies seem the same to me so if your a fan of him you well probably still enjoy that moive even with bad reviews

...I mean dont get me wrong- i love Will Ferrell's "Good" movies-but it seems like for every good flick he puts out, he releases 2 bombs along with it. Semi-Pro was forgettable and 'Stranger than Fiction' was not made for him-and it sucked. Im most likely going to end up seeing 'The Hangover'...i was just curious about all the hype between these 2..

If it's a comedy you're looking for, than there is not too much else, but Pelham 1-2-3 opens this weekend.

LOL - I feel the same acrid. I love slapstick humor. People may say those are bad movies a lot of times, but I personally like to laugh when I watch a movie as well. The Hangover looks better to me. Kinda burned out on Will Farrell over the past 5 years or so.

ehh...ehh...I'll wait for DVD...not too syked over this one....i dont even remember the last time i went to see a Denzel film in the theater..no bash either...thier usually pretty decent action flix, i just never find the urge to go.....i believe the last one of his i went to see was 'Bone Collector w/ A.Jolie' back in '01?'02?...dope movie-kinda on the 'Se7en' vibe, but not as good...



...I kinda want to check out 'Drag me to Hell'..while it is the dredded pg-13 horror flick,,i've heard good things about it,,,,

Pelham 1-2-3 looks AWESOME! I plan to see that this weekend. I like Denzel a lot. He's my 3rd favorite actor next to Morgan Freeman and Robert DeNiro.

I've heard good things about the Hangover, but I'll wait till it comes on DVD. It looks like it could be funny especially with the Mike Tyson scene, but I'm not sure that I wanna pay 10 bucks for it.

Land Of The Lost looks like COMPLETE garbage. Then again, I've never been a big Will Ferrell fan. The only movies I've really liked from him were Old School and Anchorman.

Mike Tyson singing that Phil Collins song then knocking the guy out lol. Will Ferrel was really funny in Talladega Nights.

I hated Talladega Nights. The best Will Ferrel movies are Old School and Anchorman.

Co-Sign, the jokes in Talladega Nights got really old and corny really quick IMO.

Alright Acrid, you should definitely go see The Hangover. That movie was pretty hilarious and overall I'd give it a 8/10 rating.

If I was forced at gunpoint I would say Hangover.

Most comedies suck.

Watch a porno and try to emulate the actors. Suggest this after both parties are well inebriated.

The Hangover was funny, but maddddd overrated. Not really worth the money to see it in theatres, but most ish out isn't. I'd definitely watch it over that Will Ferrel movie, though

Yeah I think this is gonna be a netflix rental when it goes to DVD for me.

Land of the Lost sucks rotten dinosaur eggs. The movie's suckiness is comparible to Bill & Ted's Bogus Adventure or Never ending Story prt. 2. The storyline is that of a typical child's cartoon. Watch Hangover or rent The Inspector Gadget Movie on DVD. Avoid this film.
