I agree with the first part, nobody should be penalized for finishing last. You have no control over how your players perform. Sometimes they just underachieve. But deadbeat owners should definitely get the boot.

As for the date, I think the 22nd would be better, which is on a Sunday. But I'm fine with the 20th as well.

Ok here's a few things.....

KJ wasn't a deadbeat owner in football (as previously mentioned) so at least we know he'll be active in this one. He knows his stuff and has been doing it for a while.

Tran did do some questionable trades but I think everyone (including myself) did the same. He did some great trades in the roundball league...
