M.I.A. Albums Day 13

Today we highlight some femcees from the west coast on Scarface Records. Conscious Daughters dropped a nice g-funk heavy album with Ear To The Street and Paris handles all the production. On the mic they were nothing special but they stayed in there lane well. This is not no true blue gangsta album like say Boss album Born Gangstaz. They talk on some social topics like unplanned pregnancy and negatives of dating dope dealers/gangstas. And they were smart to keep it real short trklisting wise. Definitely worth a download or listen imo.

Never heard the album in it's entirety but I've seen some of the Concious Daughters videos back in the days and think they were very talented.

Yeah I don't know about "very" talented but they were decent. You should down load it and check it out. Its mos def some dope ridin music.

SMH, and people in here say that my taste isn't diverse. It's more diverse than the majority of people in here.

I have no biases against female rappers, kid rappers, jazzy rap, certain coasts, or rap released before 1990. All I ask is don't come wack.

Well they weren't on par with Lyte or Latifah in their primes, but they were dope. I liked their subject matter and production. I'll DL it sometime.

I had the album with "Gamers" on it but don't have it anymore. They were alright.
