Let's go to a duo from Oakland and their imo slept on 2nd album. The Luniz dropped Lunitik Muzik in 1998 to little fanfare but I actually like it a tad more than there debut. While there is no song on here touching or high quality like 5 On It. The album does not have many wasted moments like their uneven debut. They were also smart to invite a lot of dope guest that did not seem forced for their appearances. You got 8ball & MJG, E40, BLegit, Redman, Too Short and even the damn 2 Live Crew. This album also has a lot of dope remakes and samples of like Hey Young World (Slick Rick), Just Me And You (Toni Tone) and Loungin' (LL Cool J) for example. It has production from Tone Capone, QDIII, Bosko, and Mike Dean.
Here's two singles from it:

I'll check this album out sometime. Operation Stackola was a 4 star effort so if this is better than I'm sure to dig it.

Yeah you should at least think this is a 4.0-4.25 but no lower than a 3.5 easily. I probably got it around a 4.0-4.25.
Did you listen to the singles?

I wouldn't say it's necessarily better than Operation Stackola. If it is, it's by the slightest of margins. I have em both around 4 stars. I thought this was a really good sophomore effort.
Killaz On The Payroll was my shit back in the day.
And I loved the hidden "bonus" track at the end of 20 Bluntz A Day.
Good pick.

I hear you man. Theres not a real big spread in quality between the two. It was dope Too Short and Luniz squashed their beef on this album also.
