top 150 i can see, top 100 no.

I got his first two and they are tight, but not classic IMO, despite being very solid. Neither.

he's a neither...

lyrically an above-average emcee, and sometimes will surprise you with a verse or two...

but again he's falling short in to many other categories to be considered a top 100 hip-hop act of all-time, the other members of Def Squad-Erick Sermon and Redman and of the Hit Squad-EPMD and Das EFX all surpass him...he's last IMO in both collectives, not including that dude Jamal....

neither easily for me!

I used to listen to this dude alot. He's got ALOT of good shit out there.

That said...no way is he top 100...neither.

See my Beatnuts post. Murray is an above average to great MC that puts out average to sub-par albums, the only GREAT album he's had was The Most Beautifullest Thing In This World (4.5 stars).

The only guys in Def/Hit Squad that I'd rank below him are K-Solo and Jamal. So I've gotta vote neither.
