| Honestly, who is checking for this? Wayne is straight garbage IMO, and I'm pretty sure the majority of other posters feel the same way. Are you checking for this album Half? | |

| Oh lol. The fact that he consistently puts out more garbage is hilarious. People eat it up like cake because the industry machine tells them he makes good music. | |

| Well, I would say a combination of both. However, you are correct in saying that he does appeal to a lot of people. But, I actually liked Wayne's music in the early Cash Money days (98-2000). You couldn't deny those Manny Fresh beats though. | |

I haven't listened to his older shit, but the newer doesn't appeal to me. People now think he has witty punchlines, they just haven't heard some big L shit or other people come up with wittier shit (I'm the bomb like tick tick drives people insane here in GA). I still don't really see it as "the machine." Most bitches here are just like OMG HE'S SO HOT HIS MUSIC IS AWESOME... kinda gets annoying being surrounded by Wayne fanatics.

Check out his older albums, which are "Tha Block Is Hot" and "Lights Out". Those were pretty good IMO.

| Lil Wayne is the most overrated artist of all time, IMO. But that doesn't make him garbage. He's dope in his own right. I like spinning Wayne's albums for a month or so after they come out but aside from his first two albums (and No Ceilings), none of them have any replay value to me. He doesn't really say anything of significance so after you've heard his punchlines a few times they get boring. I will def be illegally downloading this asap, tho. | |

| I notice how everyone on here says Lil' Wayne is overrated...
then when a rapper gives a top 5 DOA it's gospel, and when a rapper says x rapper is better, if the majority say so, it's gospel.
So how come every legitimate talent, be it rapper or producer is co-signing Lil' Wayne? |

| Why do men wear skinny jeans? How many licks does it take to get to the center of a gross ass Tootsie Pop? Who knows the answers to these questions, Steve? | |
