I completely agree. Ras Kass is far more versatile and interesting on the mic. Nas has become a predictable MC. That's not always a bad thing, and his more recent output has still been good, but I feel like Ras could rip apart Preemo tracks whereas Nas would sort of glide over them, his vocals getting in the way of the good beats.

Nas and Premo would be a GUARANTEED classic. He's a better lyricist than Razzy and far more interesting. Not to mention that even if Ras did an album with Premo, you still couldn't get it in stores.

i wouldnt say Nas is a better lyricist than Razzy. in 2010 Ras is easily the superior lyricist and in their primes they were about equal. Soul on Ice being probably the greatest lyrical performance ever, Illmatic is up there as well in terms of lyricism. But in 2010 Ras is the better lyricisit and he would absolutely destroy primo tracks

i like both. The beats fit the album perfectly. I used to think they were the weak part but nah they really work well

Ras Kass only has one classic album IMO, and that came out in 1996. Nas has made classics since then.

Nas is WIDELY regarded as one of the best rappers ever. You're just too ignorant to recognize that. While Illmatic is his best album, there are several in his catalog that people consider classics.
