I'm pretty sure Mistah Fab is a free dl... I know it was for me. Don't be put off by it being a Bay Area album, it has a lot of range. Still my favorite album this year, by quite a margin.

Updated. The New Nump Trump moves in to my top 10, a couple skip tracks, but that still leaves 16 or so good ones.

I've only heard two '11 albums...

1. Talib Kweli - Gutter Rainbows (3.75 - 4 Stars) I'm with Terry on his assessment...
2. Lupe Fiasco - Lasers (3 Stars) Not great, not terrible. Forgettable though.

I've been curious about that Cunnin and that Krit. Those are most likely up next for me.

Pharoah Monche and Mistah FAB are the two best I've heard this year, and I've been digging. Quik is up there, too... only listened twice, though.

Yeah I agree, as far as I'm concerned I'm just finding it hard to find time to listen to all the shit I have downloaded...so I definitely check out a lot of stuff but the reaction is delayed because I have a huge list of shit to work through before I get to it.

I agree 100% with Half, which is why I can't give you a in depth response on those 3 just yet SRP, I'm really starting to dig Lil Ruger a lot though he's climbing my Livewire ranks in a hurry. All 3 of those I've only listened to while not giving my full attention just yet.

A lot of people on here don't want new music. They just want new music from the artists they're comfortable with.

Ok, so I gave that Syrup And Kush an honest listen today, liked it, but had a few complaints. The chorus to Cake sucks real bad. 3 versions of Wussup is a little much. I didn't notice a bit of difference in the quote un-quote REMIX of Rich Girl than the version on Slappin' In The Trunk Vol. 4. Last of all Hunter was also on The Street Album and the beat on that is better suited for someone like Three 6 Mafia. Other than that I thought it was a good installment in the series.

I think I'll pas then, I've never been a big fan of Slappin In The Trunk, I did track down a CD of that Shottas with him and Lil Blood and dug that. The Cocaine Cowboys joint sounds dope too.

word, once this Freddie Fox finishes and I get through this Mastamind I got the Smigg queued up next. I might need to start my own 2011 list at some point.

That might bring this thread up to an even 10 lists...not counting Norf (thumbs down buddy with only 2 if I remember right). I'm checking out the Smigg track featuring AZ right now in honor of the out shine guest spot thread in which his name got thrown around earlier.

I'm able to get through 5 or 6 albums a day at work which is about 25-30 album spins a week just at work. Sometimes it can be a little cumbersome, but for the most part i am able to let them sink in. I'm guilty of buying albums just to have them in the collection, but for the most part, i buy all the music i do becuase i genuinely want to hear it.

Ya, Boss Music was proper (Boy Big's a smoothie), I just skimmed through Pound Cake so far. That fucker needs to start naming his tracks. Haven't listened to the Smigg Yet, but I have listened to his little homie Boog & most of Lego's. I've been mostly listening to that Fillmoe To The Crest this weekend, I like it a lot it's got an up to date throwback sound (nice to hear 4-Tay & D-Moe).

Man that Smigg FYM is so good for a free mixtape, I should have dl'd it earlier in the year. You'll get a kick out of the Lil Troy Jack on Be A Baller. It's got features from Fabby, Lunasicc, AZ, I-Rocc, The Jacka & Hollow Tip just to name the more famous one's. 25 tracks and I only really didn't care for 1 (Best Night Of Your Life) and even that one isn't that bad. If I was your man Remix throws the flow off a little bit, being on the smoothe R & B tip, but it's still a good track.
