| I'm shocked and appalled that no one has listed a song from I'm Serious yet...it is hands down his best album, IMO.

I couldn't disagree more, I hate I'm Serious. It's the 2nd worst in his discog IMO, only ahead of No Mercy.

| No Mercy is pretty lame to me. Opinions are opinions, I guess. I remember a lot of you guys saying that Trap Muzik was his best and that is his 2nd worst easily behind TI vs TIP to me. I really don't get it. I absolutely did not expect that this forum would list all of TI's "commercial hits" on their top 5. | |

I'm not sure why that surprises you. TI is a singles artist through and through.

most of this forum is a bunch of commercial rap fans lol I disagree with that, because whenever I come to this forum I see a bunch of people shouting out a random underground rapper with a fan following of 100 or less. As for TI, he always has been and always will be a commercial artist. Anyone who claims to be the "King Of The South" (although I disagree with that statement) is obviously fishing for mainstream love. Whether or not his commercial singles are his best are debatable, but anyone who thinks that someone listing his commercial hits is suprising must not listen to T.I. much at all because that's what he prides himself on.

| Wand my list was not most of his mainstream hits. Most of his singles are generic and just okay to me.
And Trap Muzik being one of his weakest is crazy. And I still say No Mercy is unfairly bashed but whatever, bitches.

And I agree that TI is a straight up commercial dude and thats the reason that I enjoy I'm Serious the most. It is the least popular (commercially) and the least played out. Beyond that, though, I think TIP sounds hungriest and most "true" on his debut. Everything after that was all Hollywood Hogan as far as I'm concerned. And Kev, you posted your list after my comment so you don't count, lol. And to KJ...I don't have any beef with you and I'm not trying to start anything but sometimes you make comments that seem polarizing just for the sake of being polarizing. To say that someone must not listen to a lot of TI because they don't agree with you is absurd. I have bumped every TI album front to back (no pun intended) several times and my opinions are what they are.

Trap Muzik Paper Trail King TI vs. TIP No Mercy Urban Legend I'm Serious
That list flip flops quite often though. Not a real big fan of TI and all his albums are in the same vein dang near except the 1st one and Trap Muzik.

He doesn't have TI vs TIP over King, but No Mercy over Urban Legend is some bullshit!!! The first four songs on Urban Legend slaughter anything on No Mercy.

I have bumped every TI album front to back (no pun intended) several times and my opinions are what they are. I don't have any beef with you either Wanduras, and you're entitled to your opinion I just disagree. One of my Top 5 wasn't a commercial hit, and with TI my list varies. ASAP is without question my fav song by him though. He does have some dope non-hits as well, I almost listed a few of them. As for Trap Musik being among his worst albums I disagree entirely. That album is what got me into TI in the first place which is why it's my favorite. I just love how real he kept it throughout the album. Rubber Band Man is considered a commercial track only because it's a hit, but what he's talking about in the song isn't really commercial material at all. I'd say Paper Trail is his most commercial album, and ironically that happens to be among his best. LOL @ the Hollywood Hogan reference, the nWo ruled!!!
