| WOW!
Another elite top 20 r&b act of all-time, as a matter fact a top 5 r&b act of all-time...this group defines r&b and soul music!
their top 5?? this is actually a pretty stupid question, why?? because good luck trying to make a top 5....lol
here goes nothing:
Can't Hide Love (this is their number one track of all-time IMO, so at least I can give you the one that I think is their number one track...lol)
Reasons-the lyrics on this one are spellbinding, shit is not written this way anymore
Keep Your Head To The Sky-another well written, well produced masterpiece
That's The Way Of The World-a true slow jam
Love's Holiday-just classic material.....a perfect track
*Boogie Wonderland *Let's Groove *Serpentine Fire *Fantasy *Got To Get You Into My Life *Sing A Song *After The Love Has Gone *September *Shining Star *Getaway *Mighty Mighty *Love Is Life *Devotion
I'm going to stop there otherwise I'll take up the entire thread space...lol

That's The Way Of The World is my 3rd favorite R&B album of all time, behind Thriller and Songs In The Key Of Life Hmm, maybe i should give the album a listen. I only own their 3 disc Essential album. I usually like to listen to full albums, but i only own Hits collections for a lot of these older groups and that's generally enough for me. Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye would be the two notable exceptions.

The Hits collection probably contains most of that album, but That's The Way Of The World is definitely worth a purchase, as is Spirit and All in All.

| Yeah, i was just looking at how many tracks they have in common. I may get it just to have it in the collection. The problem i have with some hits is that they contain the "single edit" version of a track instead of the album version of tracks. Sometimes it worth it to have both just for that. | |
