Ha! sorry bout the name drop. They're my favorite group. I had to. But the CL album is amazing. It's really not anything like any of their other albums. I guess it is most like APOS though. The album is pretty dark and has a dreamy feel. Kno uses a lot of vocal samples and experiments with synths a lot more....kinda like DIS but takes it to whole other level. I will also say this IS Natti's album. He truly shines on it, and Deacon does his thing of coarse.

I agree that it resembles APOS in the fact that the album is held together by a common theme and the production holds that theme in place. I've probably spun this about 6 times since Tuesday evening and it becomes more like 50 minutes of music as opposed 15 three to four minute tracks which is always a good thing.

| Spins:
Pharoahe Monch "W.A.R."- I didn't find a skip track yet, but I will give a rating once I spin this a few more times
Kanye West "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy"
RZA "Bobby Digital"- Same assessment as back in the day...dope production, dope moments but overall about 4 stars...nothing more, nothing less
ODB "N*I*G*G*A* Please"- Same assessment as back in the day. As Kev said, somebody should have told him N*I*G*G*A* Please when he released this CD. I have no clue what the objective was behind this CD other than to show how crazy ODB was. 3 stars...nothing more, nothing less.

I agree. Except with the rating. I think this is an entertaining album. I actually play it more than Return..... 4-4.25 stars on that alone. turtle Jack (I know Pounds agrees)>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

It's been a long fuckin day at work... So why'd you have to make it worse? I wasn't feeling it at first but I'm diggin it now. I love the weird, simple, shitty beats and the rhyming is on some different shit. It's not mind blowing or anything but its different and when you listen to as much music as I do on a daily basis you need to throw in a few "odd" balls from time to time...you see what I did there with the "odd" reference...man, I'm awesome. Also... Spun: Snoop Dogg - Doggumentary Hopefully more people will pick this album up. I know the general consensus is that Snoop has lost his mojo but I am really feeling this joint more than his last 3 (which I also liked). I think most people will be pleased with the overall quality and especially the choices for beats. I think the features all were on point, too. Even Jeezy's faggot ass.

Tashan Dorsett was his last album which I dug a lot, this one is the Legend of Tashan Dorsett so I'm hoping it's just a continuation of that concept for another album.

| Listening: Oneirology - Getting better with every spin. The lyrics are interesting, way more so than I expected. The music is excellent, as I've already said.
Graveyard Shift (E-40) - More or less my introduction to E-40. Plenty good enough to have me looking forward to hearing more of his music. An original emcee.
Heavy Metal Kings - Completely on point. I am entirely surprised that these guys were able to pull off this level of skull-crushing chemistry over a full length album.
SCFB Cape Verde - Still a masterpiece to this listener. Hearing this after a couple months was like seeing an old friend. This album just makes me feel good.
