I'm not feelin their style. To me they sound like Crucial Conflict. Of course you're gonna say that it's better than any Lil Kim album, but you'd say it's better than Lyte As A Rock, Hot, Cool or Vicious, Nature Of A Sista, Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, or ANY album made by a female.

I've seen you neither people a lot better than these guys, but I don't criticize you for it.

Other than her close affiliation to your GOAT, i don't see any reason why Lil Kim belongs in the top 100 discussion. You can say it's a coincidence, but i'll never believe it. I've never heard Lyte As A Rock in it's enitirety(I only own her hits album which is dope). Hot, Cool, and Vicious is cool, but it plays like a collection of singles, and i prefer the flow to Picture This better. I have never liked Lauryn Hill, and i never will. so that may be the only one i'm biased on. Not voting Do Or Die in on their style is fine, but i thought you liked that style. Voting Lil Kim top 100 is a completely different problem

I don't see where Do Or Die belongs. The Fugees, The Lox, Souls Of Mischief, and Smif N Wessun are all more talented IMO and they didn't get in.

I think if it wasn't a chick, you and especially Steve wouldn't give me shit about it. When Powell and Kevin voted for Hammer they didn't get as much shit for it, and Hammer is one of the wackest MC's of all time.

It's not really about Do Or Die being better than those groups you mentioned. I have always voted on my listening preference so you're point is moot and irrelevant. The main argument is Do Or Die being better than Kim. Kim has no place belonging in anyone's top 100. She's about as average as it gets. Do Or Die's Discography is far superior. Hammer is not wack. Hammer had a bit of talent, but he made his name in hip hop by being an entertainer. When his entertainment value dried up so did his market and respect. I didn't vote Hammer top 100, but i don't have a problem with others who have. I have a huge problem with someone voting Kim top 100 though. If not for her connection to Biggie, you would never even dream of voting for her.

LOL at Hammer having talent. Hammer fucking EXPLOITED hip hop and paved the way for others like Vanilla Ice, Mc Brains, Tag Team, Snow, Diddy, Master P, Most of Cash Money, Jermaine Dupri, Timberland, Fergie, and the like to exploit it as well. He made it so that you didn't have to have skills to make it big in the rap game, you just have to be marketable.

As for Kim, Do or Die hasn't had a FRACTION of her impact. Hardcore and La Bella Mafia were excellent albums IMO. While she's not the greatest female rapper, she's above average IMO. Her connection to Biggie helped her for sure, but Junior Mafia's debut album was pretty good as well, and she's a big reason for that.

I'm done debating this. Because I know that Lyte is the only female that's gonna make this list due to the hatred of female rappers by the majority of this forum.

Hammer didn't exploit anything. He did things his way, and it worked. It's not his fault people tried to recreate his success. Master P didn't exploit shit either. I'm tired of this fucking argument from ignorant mother fuckers. P did things his way, and his label successfully released their fair share of classics. It's not his fault different companies and executives employed his marketing strategy, and failed to create the albums P created. People are just looking for a scapegoat, and P seems like an easy target. it's bullshit. Do you know why Hammer was successful where others failed? Do you know Why P was successful where others failed? It's called talent and intelligence. Lil Kim has virtually no positive impact, and even if she did, it has nothing to do with how enjoyable she is on the mic.
