| Top 100 easily for me. He could use more material, but what he has is fire IMO. "The EP", "Balance" & "Absolute Value" are all bangers IMO. The latter being my favorite at about 4.5 stars. However, his work with Mr. Lif on The Perceptionists album resulted in a classic album IMO. | |

| this guy is a neither for me...he can spit but he's still sounds like a mixture of Xzibit and Busta which means there's nothing original about him, but he still manages to release decent material, but top 100 of ALL-TIME??
nah, he's a neither for me

I agree. Although, i do think he falls in at the very end of the top 100.

I agree. Although, i do think he falls in at the very end of the top 100. I can see that. I really hold the Perceptionists album to an extremely high level. If it weren't for that album, this would have been a tougher decision. That is the #1 if not #2 album of 2005 IMO. I'd give "Absolute Value" top 10 of '08 easily as well. "Balance" and "The EP" are 4 star offerings IMO.

| See, it's the same problem I have with Lif and a few others. Not really a problem, though. Just when it comes to these polls.
These guys only have one mode, and it's the self-righteous save-the-world rapper. And, I like this type of music, mind you. It just gets heavy when it's constantly beaten into your head.
I don't think I would listen to a roughneck type artist that never dropped a song about anything positive. Why can't these guys just talk shit about whores once in awhile? I think it would be a lot more realistsc. They aren't priests.

I think it would be a lot more realistsc. They aren't priests. What? Not a clue how even half of these comments apply. Both Ak and Lif spit about different topics quite frequently. Lif is more of a revolutionary, but still has a wide range of topics. Akrobatik is part revolutionary part battle rapper IMO. He also has a wide range of topics as well. Both can be pessimistic at times (much more on Lif's end...have you heard Mo Mega?). And I honestly think it would be stupid if they rapped about whores. That is not their place and it would seem fake coming from them because they respect women...quite obviously. Talking about being realistic though, these guys definitely rhyme about reality all the time. I mean, a lot of this could be said about some of the greatest protest/revolutionary rappers.
