| I'm always bumping tunes while I maintain my lawn. And I got it narrowed down to 2 favorites...
Ice-T "The Iceberg/Freedom of Speech...Just Watch What You Say" Not even sure why really. I've been consistently bumping this album while I mow the lawn...for a long time now. Actually, it's over 50% of what I've played while mowing the lawn for the past 5 years. And actually, it may be my favorite Ice-T album because of it...also a reason why "What Ya Wanna Do?" is one of my favorite posse cuts of all time.
Big Mike "Somethin' Serious" Same story. I guess I just like the harder shit when it comes to lawn work.

Cutting them down or something? I can see how it would be distracting. I'd be scared shit-less depending on the size of the tree. lol...I don't like heights.

| Hey man, kind of topic but I was thinking about your recent funk kick. Have you ever checked out Daptone Records? Great bands, Sugarman Three, Daktaris, Budos Band, and of course the Dap-Kings. A lot of it would probably be more 'soul' than funk. But, it sure is some funked out soul music. | |

No I haven't. Something you'd recommend as a starting point? My funk/soul collection was so bare at first, I've only spent a lot of time/money collecting classics from pioneers so far...and a few odds and ends.

| Look into Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings. Dap-Dipping With The Dap-Kings is a great live album, probably the funkiest. Naturally is my favorite, though. Check them out on YouTube. | |

I remember reading about "I Learned the Hard Way" (have you heard it?). This sounds interesting. I like the Soul as much as the funk...you say Naturally is their best? That cover art is tight! Not sure why, but I love it...

OK, I've been reading up on them since you posted and am ready to order an album...all are supposedly stellar according to Amazon users. Would Naturally be the best starting off point?

I suppose it was a pretty big album. I was one of the old school Metallica fans at the time that were yelling sellout. lol See, I hated mainstream shit even then. lol

It's part of my volunteer work, helping the morbidly obese indeed. peaple don't seem to understand how hard it is to push a lawn mower while sitting in a power scooter. I entered my name to CMT to have those Trick My Truck fools to customize my riding mower, but they rejected me

My advice is to have your wife spray lard on the lawn and let you loose one weekend a month. |

| Their is an old man i've never met or spoken to that lives near my street and he comes over and breaks his back mowing my lawn for free while i relax inside with a beer.
I felt bad for him at the start but he does a really good job. I think he wants to fuck my girlfriend. He is either a bit crazy, lonely or a peadophile |

I do a variety of work with trees. I cut them down and I trim them. All shapes and sizes. It's scary as shit once you start but as time progresses it just incorporates itself into your daily plans and you start thinking less of it.
