That's interesting. I felt that Havoc reached another level with the production on Hell on Earth. Prodigy stayed at pretty much the same level to my ears.

I know you think AEOM is 3 stars, and MATW and Makaveli are 5 stars. Lets say 2pacalypse is 4 stars(although i think most people think it's higher), Strictly is 4.25 stars(although i think most people think it's higher), and Thug Life is 4 stars(although i think most people think it's higher). That averages out to about 4.21 with the lower Pac ratings. I'm just not seeing where Mobb Deeps discog is decidedly better.

Those are pretty respectable rankings. I would give Hell On Earth like 4.5 though. But I respect that a lot of people like it more than me.

Prodigy/Mobb Deep is rated CD-MA for graphic violence, strong sexual content, adult language and adult situations.

smh @ Terry. Powell posted his Pac rankings in the Pac thread. The first 2 are 4 stars, MATW is 5, AEOM is 3, and Makaveli is 4.75-5. He didn't list Thug Life, though.

Alright, Excluding Thug Life with those ratings it comes out to about 4.15 stars per album which is still better than the average of his Mobb Deep ratings.

Anyway regarding what you've been asking about....I feel that 2Pac has a top 20 catalog of all-time and that he is in no way ahead of Mobb Deep regarding their respective catalogs....2Pac made a bigger impact and was the greater legend, but Prodigy and Havoc had more talent and a better overall catalog IN MY OPINION

I have Pac with 2 classics (Me Against The World and Makaveli)...I have Mobb Deep with 3 (Hell On Earth, The Infamous, Murda Muzik)....they both have some 4 and 3 star albums sprinkled about but as far as the overall catalog I feel that Mobb Deep is up in front of 2Pac....again IN MY OPINION....
