Really, I'm just trying to generate interest in this thread. When I get my internet back I'm going to up a double disc comp of the best of the first half of 2010 as compiled by me for all the slackers out there.

Generically updated my list with a gaggle of shit on Page 4.

Updated my list with Reflection Eternal and The Roots.

Updated my lists with Eminem, the Roots and other stuff

Updated with Eminem and Reflection Eternal. Also made some big changes to my rankings. Bone goes from 5 to 10. Eulorhythmics go from 4 to 12 and Yu goes from 7-11. It changes every week for me.

Updated my list with Em, Roots, and Shad. Changed a few ratings and rearranged some things.

Added Kurupt and DJ Khaled. (Bottom of page 3) Both albums were dope IMO.

I moved The Roots up and Reflection Eternal down Just copped Lil Jon. Not really gonna buy Eminem until I find a really cheap used copy. Still haven't spun B.O.B. or Bone Thugs. They still sit in the plastic. I'll get to those two after Crunk Rock...

Not a big Em fan anymore. Been a fan of LJ's beats from day 1, though. Made perfect sense to me...

Nope....not on my radar, really. Eminem is on the backburner. Not at all familiar with Cognito. Tech N9ne is the most likely to get a look since I do dig his music. BLH is in the same boat as Eminem in the sense that the interest simply isn't there.

Cognito is on Strange Music...a lot of people would call him an Eminem-lite but most people that checked this album out actually dug it a lot.

Just threw Janelle Monáe up there. Top spot for non hip hop right now.

SMH......The Em and BLH albums are dope. BLH is one of the best albums of the year IMO.

I never said they weren't good (haven't heard them, remember?). What I'm saying is I have little to no interest in hearing them. If I can find either of them for less than $3, I'll check them out.

I finally updated my list with all (or at least most that I can remember) of the albums that I bought this year. No downloads, all bought. My list is not in order yet, and notes will come later when I'm not lazy.

While I do have a few blind buys on my list (Big Boi, Dutch, Kurupt and a few others...), I still think that downloads are a good thing. They keep me from wasting money on poop.

The only album that I really regret buying this year is Sage Francis- Li(f)e. That album was booty. Lucky it was on sale for $7.99.
